They hunt down the suspect ensuring there’s consequences. Police lives matter just as all lives matter. Summer 2020 protests after George Floyd sought to keep police from hiding behind qualified immunity and ineffective repercussions. BLM represented for almost any reason and the Black person posed no threat or were unarmed, playing at the park, sitting in your apartment or an unnecessary traffic stop. Within many of our communities we unalive each other daily. We should be outraged, protesting and demanding action for those deaths. But BLM movement leaders couldn’t stop how their concerns and demands were twisted into “defund the police”, Media focus redirected to the rioting looting arson instead of addressing our concerns and possible solutions to help cops do their jobs safely, adding experienced officers for mental heath response along with funds. When outcry shows public demanding something be done to fight violence, it results calls for reports, increased militarization of police departments and the weapons they use. Stop and frisk morphs into judge and executioner. If you’ve read all this luckily in this case the suspect got what he sent to the flowers
