Starlink satellites visible in Las Vegas sky on Wednesday night

There was a group of 10 that were visible that passed over then a group of about 100-150 came over the valley. I watched the entire thing happen with my friends. No way that was Elon Musk.

Okay but did they just appear out of nowhere? Like the sky was empty and then boom a light appeared and moved across the sky and then another appeared and followed and so on before disappearing again? Or was it just a line of lights moving across the sky?

Seen it in SoCal around 9pm ish going east bound. Tripped me out. Couldnt get it on camera to far. Very well spaced out and traveling slow for like 2 minutes

I actually got good pictures tonight. No shit, I thought it was a full on invasion😆 We've seen some weird stuff in the night sky while fishing at the lake, nothing related to those satellites that's for sure.

Intentionally, in this case. They're in a fairly low orbit so it won't take much to deorbit them when they reach the end of their useful life. They're really small so they burn up entirely on reentry.
