Is it not possible to charge him with contempt? I have never ever seen a judge allow even a small amount or inferred disrespect. I saw a video once of a man who rolled his eyes and he was escorted out and charged with contempt of court. I know what the problem is, however justified the judge might be in how she handles this guy --- a huge unnamed group of militants will riot and threaten the lives of her family. They act like he does. If they don't get what they want, they don't care about justice.

@CreatiVe I share the frustration. But, because of this judge being so careful to be "fair," and cross all the T's and dot all the I's, this evil man will be inside a prison for the rest of his life. It is punishment for him, and protection for everyone else. Without the death penalty as an option, it is tge harshest punishment they can give him on this earth. God will see to the rest.

@@Azzlad Her job was to make sure the trial was legally conducted. She could have lost her temper and kicked him out more often, thereby denying Brooks his right to a fair trial, but she didn't. Weakness would be exactly the course you recommend. Brooks had a constitutional right to represent himself, and the judge had an obligation under state law to ensure he had as much access to the courtroom as possible. Her wisdom and her strength ensured Brooks trial was lawfully conducted despite his constant outbursts, and her wisdom and strength will ensure there is no basis at all for the case to be remanded for a new trial. Folks like you mistake bullying for strength, and folks like you don't understand the law, and don't understand our justice system, and you have no idea what obligations a judge has.
