An EVIL person sees EVERYTHING as EVIL and WANTS TO FIGHT EVERYTHING HE SEES. 😪 PEOPLE who have little FAITH SEE EVERYONE as HONEST, so he is always CHEATED, always CHEATED, and he CAN'T DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT. 🌷🙏 (I give you these few examples to confirm your belief. Satan's evil nature is not a temporary compulsion or something caused by chance nor is it a temporary manifestation caused by any reason or context. Absolutely not! There really is nothing Satan can do but be like this! It won't do any good.) 🙏😪🙏 Whoever GOD FAVORS, SATAN GUARDS him, and PUSHES him BEHIND. Two of the best lines in history were left out of this movie, Goliath's call to David and David's response. Goliath mocked David and even grew angry, as David approached him with his Shepard's staff in hand, when he saw him, and yelled at him "Am I a dog that you come at me with a stick" Then Goliath told David to come on and Goliath bragged he would give David's flesh to the birds of the air. David said quite a bit back to him, but the part that always got me was when David looked back at him he said, "you come to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield: but I come to you in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the Army of Israel." David was not afraid, and he was not shy he said quite a bit more, told Goliath he was going to cut off his head and leave his body for the birds. Also the stone sunk into Goliath's skull, I don't know why but I think that is cooler than what this showed. Then David jumped on Goliath and Took Goliath's own sword and took off his head. The Philistines ran and the Army of Israel ran after them. I don't know why anyone wants to water it down so much. The bible story is epic and dynamic. Sorry I sad too much, but the story of David and Goliath is one of my very favorite. So here the Philistines were proud of their giant, and a boy is now standing on his once bragging carcas holding his head which David, the boy, cut off with, Goliath's own sword no less. That is just way too cool for this or any movie I have seen of it yet.

Yeah real David was a beast, this ‘David’ was weak by comparison. It also says he charged after Goliath as soon as the battle began. Absolutely no fear. This David seemed way too nervous to take down a giant.

David also told Saul that he had fought a lion and a bear for his sheep. If you think about it, and David lost, the Israelites become slaves to the Philostines. That is a lot of faith for Saul to put into David. I understand Goliath had been taunting for like 30 days before David made it to the battlefield to bring his brothers food, and that isn’t visually stunning, but to have Saul just on a whim say “here you will need this”…Its lacking in the richness of the story. It is also odd to have David step up after the wealth offering from Saul, as David seemingly didnt care about the money, David was offended by Goliaths taunting of God. He was driven by a need to honor and glorify God. That is also kind of missing from the clip.

Один уйгур был отправлен в «центр перевоспитания» после того, как он закрыл свой ресторан на время рамадана: это, как было сказано в документе, свидетельствовало об «опасности экстремистских мыслей». А два миллиона арабов, проживающих сегодня в Израиле, являются доказательством того, что никто геноцидом в стране не занимается. Сегодня идет война с террористами, а не с мусульманами.

The Israelites butchered the Philistines without mercy, for defying Yahweh. What makes Yahweh the one true god, even though there has been many gods before him who actually helped the people in their times of need? Yahweh ruled them and sent them to war for his own glory. Is that commendable?

This still happens today. Too much arrogance can lead you to defeat because your so caught up that you cant focus. Clearly goliath underestimated David. We have seen this. Russia underestimated japan and Afghanistan. France and the usa underestimated Vietnam. Still happens.

Fun Fact: Ancient skirmishers used to write and draw all sorts of filthy abuse on their sling ammo ("Jacob took your eye"..."Isaac smashed your teeth"..."Simon broke your jaw" etc and just flat out obscenities about the enemies people, kings and Gods). We do the same with bombs today. Like Fallout 4 tells us..." War...war never changes..."

From a distance, a missile weapon(arrow, lance, gun, sling) is the favorite against a close combat weapon(sword, spear, club). That is the main reason the Mongols were so formidable for example, their mounted archers could kill at a distance. Note also the success of the English longbowmen vs French Knights. David was smart not to don armor, as mobility is a great asset, when facing a swordsman with his (David's) sling.

The sling is a proven battlefield weapon & highly effective. Given this fact and that the range in question is close range no experianced soldier would have removed his helmet. Still it makes a good story.

I read that Goliath had gigantism. He was 6’ 6” which is equivalent to 7’ 4” today. Goliath’s vision was so bad he needed someone to escort him to the battle field and stand only 12 feet from David. Hollywood would have you believe that David launched 3 or 4 stones from 35 yards, squeezed it perfectly through Goliaths helmet knocked him down and then cut his head off. Have any of you ever used a slingshot? I actually went to a competition year’s ago and watched guys use state of the art slings and cylindrical stones. The targets were circular and made of aluminum with a 24” radius. At 20 yards it took one of the better contestants twelve attempt’s to hit his target. At 30 yards it was borderline embarrassing, if memory serves it took over twenty attempts to hit the target. Just some perspective here.

Было много наций но каждый поклонялись своим выдуманным богам. Но Моисей, Авраам были преданны Иегове Богу. Адам нарушил соглашение с Иеговой Богом сьев запретный плод и стал смертным и поэтому дети рождались уже смертны. Но чтобы исправить то что сделал Адам. Бог Иегова и Его Сын Иисус приняли решение исправить грех Адама. Иисус должен был родиться как человек и умереть за грех Адама. Чтобы выкупить нас от смерти.. Всё написано в Библии. Почему был Израиль, потому что Авраам был предан Иегове . И чтобы сохранить родословную где должен был родиться Иисус. Нужен был такой народ. И Иегова заключил соглашение с Авраамом.....

The real david was not afraid at all, nervous or anything. He had just came off killing a lion. And probably for this reason God gave him the victory over the lion. He came to bring his brothers lunch. No one had told him of Goliath. Then david said with confidence, "who is this philistine who defies the army of the living God". David couldn't wait to get at goliath. And he knew beyond the shadow of a doubt that God would slay Goliath through him.

Loved watching this series although I thought it could have focused more on certain stories but let's be honest here. No depiction of Goliath has ever truly done him justice because the Bible says he was at least eight or nine feet tall.
