I have to come down on the side of Jamie Dimon when it comes to China, at this present time, being a competitor and not our enemy despite all of the very negative influences China is involved in. This is somewhat of a defense of China being supported by the fact that the U. S., over the past decades, has had just as much or even more of a negative influence on China, and we didn't see ourselves as being China's enemy, but rather just our competitor that in the earlier years of our relationship our businessmen took full advantage of China's nascent emergence onto the global stage, and now these chickens are coming home to roost, so to speak.
