Remember Colin talking about mental health, if it weren't for you guys talking about it and having the first lockdown to think over it, then I honestly don't think I'd be here. As I've got help with it, looked into why I felt different and didn't fit in. So started looking into the possibility of being autistic and having meltdowns, of which I didn't think at the time of having them, were meltdowns. Loved the channel so much and seeing your adventures, stay safe and take care to both of you Colin and Shaun

I realized today that when I am fully caught up with the vlogs, I can start again and watch one new vlog and two old vlogs a week pretty much indefinitely. This vlog in particular demonstrates how time and events pass into the sands of time and we still plod along. Add to that the history of England as you travel, it shows how over the years, decades and centuries just how industrious people were with all the things they built.

I have shared many of your vlogs regarding depression with my daughter. At 13 she was diagnosed with clinical depression, at 29 her meds were modified because she was, and sometimes still does, have long periods of depression. Yes, at 30, she is under a Psychiatrist care, but thinks she'll be publicly shamed for having this. I applaud both of you for talking openly about mental and emotional health. It's very heroic, thank you both.

Wonderful drone footage! I'm constantly surprised by just how beautiful my own country is - how don't I know that?! When I first saw this pop up I thought it would just be clips of all your vlogs - which I've already seen! But somehow you turned it into something else, and I actually found myself going back to some of those vlogs are looking at them again. It was somehow so evocative of past holidays and times gone by that it made me regret that I haven't seen more of my own country and that many of the places I had been to, I'd probably never see again. The English tourist board really should use your films! I also choked up all over again when Silver Fox was launched! Obviously getting daft in my old age... Thank you so much for all these wonderful vlogs, and for letting us peek into your lives. All the best to both of you for the next 1,000 miles.

I seriously never use this acronym but omg! What a great look back! You guys have been through so much. So many amazing memories! Such great camera work and great drone shots. I know Micheal and Jo with “Minamalist” are looking at starting their last year. David with “Cruising the cut” has decided that with all the new vloggers out there, his no longer feeling the joy of cruising and his desire to start doing documentaries on canal life rather than cruising himself, he is bowing out of weekly vlogs. You guys will be the premier Narrowboat vlog in my opinion (I do love the “Narrowboat experience”and “Country house Gent”) but you guys are my Fav! So much humor, information and honesty. You are “not allowed” to bow out! Please, I need my Silverfox fix to go on! I know with the build of your new boat you are committed to continuing your adventures. Colin, you and Shawn are brilliant and bring so much history of the canals, humanity and heart to so many, you need to keep doing what you do! After contracting whooping cough in 2012 (*despite being vaccinated and being a very fit gym bunny at the time) my lungs can just decide not to function. It doesn’t happen as often now but my beloved sat a ridiculous amount of times in A&E or ambulances with me and it’s only recently I realised the effect on him. He doesn’t like to talk about it either ... just focus on getting more healthy times and appreciating them. So, I love you so much, Shaun, it’s very hard when it’s someone you love being affected 🥰. What a fabulous adventure it's been. Full of beautiful scenery, historical facts, shenanigans, a few tears, a ton of smiles, good times, a few bad times, a million laughs and lots of traaaaiiinnns....and the recap was a lotta fun too. Looking forward to the next 1000 miles. ❤

My favourite part of your vlogs is the history you bring, many canal boat vloggers leave this out.

Brilliant. Can’t wait for Part 2. Makes me want to go back and watch ALL the vlogs from #1 onwards, in one go.... I’ll call it a Foxathon. 😂

I have watched the entire foxes afloat blog series through from one into the other at least four times since I discovered it last summer. Got to do something while I’m isolating for my second year

And quite frankly the beauty of Colin’s videography as well as the lovely open sharing on both Colin and Sean’s part, contributes to my mental health, too.

Do it, Hollers. That's the subliminal message in the vlog making you think that 😂

I still remember that crane lift, gave me nightmares, the slings should have been further apart and using a spreader bar. BUT it all went swimmingly and it’s been awesome so far, love the channel and you guys and of course we miss Dillon ❤️❤️❤️

I love the fact you had a Signwriter do your lettering. Vinyl lettering has just about killed the art.

This is a great idea of doing a "re-cap" of your 1000 miles. As always, the out takes are great. Shau was laughing so much... probably trying to stay warm.
