QBs like Patrick Mahomes and Tom Brady know exactly where the ball is going to go as soon as it is snapped. Mahomes is better than Brady in the fact that Mahomes can run efficiently, when the coverage is good. When I watch Lamar Jackson in a clean pocket, I feel like I can see him going through his progressions and thinking process. I don't like that. At some point, you need to master your profession to the point that the people watching you work just see the results but they don't see how you are doing it. It becomes almost like magic and incredible luck. Even worse for Lamar, he is limiting himself by trying to prove that he is a "pocket passer."
