As a Texans fan, I agree. I think the Texans can win but they have to play their A game and the Chiefs have to play at C- level. Demeco Ryans is a very good HC, Reid is better. C J Stroud is a good QB, Mahomes is a HoFer. Texans defense is borderline Elite, Chiefs defense is better still. So as the saying goes the Texans have a punchers chance but they aren't going to catch the Chiefs unaware.

@blick5511 football is a TEAM sport all the way around. They have a championship defense because they've won multiple but that doesn't make their defense by itself better than the Texans. Mahomes is the reason why they close out the wins. Do not get it twisted. You take Mahomes off that team for a few games and see how well they hold up. It will NOT work out well. On the other hand Stroud has thrown for around 100 yards or less in a few games and still been in it. Texans have a better defense. They wouldn't even be in the playoffs. Stroud has played subpar this year.

Chris Jones is more of a playmaker and disruptor than anybody for Houston, yes better than both of the edges combined. Nick Bolton has scored TD's in the Superbowl, again more of a playmkaker than anybody Houston has at LB. Secondary same story, Trent McDuffie is an all pro lock down corner, great blitzer, great vs the run, forcing fumbles, playmaker again on a back to back championship level. Stingley is nice but there's levels to this.

It will take multiple things. Mahomes is the best in league history down 10+ points. They're elite at overcoming mistakes and bad bounces. They did it all year. Their turnvoer differential was terrible looking for a while and they were still winning
