I don’t think he’s saying MJ will be forgotten. He’s saying over time MJ will not be a daily topic because the people who watched him will not be always there to say MJ is the Goat to the youth. Eventually the narrative on that will gradually change. He will always be in the convo but obviously more people in the future will try to debunk that compared to now where there is some that try to debunk that but the majority don’t.

If you're young and didn't see MJ in his prime but hear him referenced as being the greatest its easy enough to go online and see him doing things athletically that nobody else has done since in the NBA, including LBJ not even close. 20 + years later and Jordan is still the most iconic and popular athlete on the planet. If no one comes and fills that void as the "next great one" when LeBron leaves... Its gonna take a real special player to make us forget about Jordan being the GOAT. I watched Jordan become the Goat growing up He still is and will always be the Goat

The main point of this is Jordan has (is) a brand which will be around for the next 100 years. Players come and go logos are forever.

Hell Chris, there’s STILL a dozen or so moves that the 🐐 MJ did that I’ve NEVER seen repeated-Let alone the ACCOMPLISHMENTS…D-Wade is GREAT-as long as we never hear anything he says….🤣🤷🏾‍♂️

Gentlemen! The Jordan brand and logo is not just big in basketball (NBA and College) but it is now big in college football. Many of the major college football power schools are wearing Jordan brand. He will never be forgotten. Amazing!!!!
