Some video notes: - Tagret large businesses that have people already paid to talk on the phone all day - Start with yes/no questions - Then move up to open ended questions - Then try have a full conversation about something complex - And finally, try practice making these types of calls with a fake goal > like trying to get someones email etc Nothing beats real practice and after a week weeks of this you will way more confidence (and sound way better) making real cold calls.

One thing I did to practice, was switching up between ending the conversation myself, versus allowing the other person to end it. You can test which one feels more comfortable for you and also depending on context. Then you can have an exit plan if it goes bad without ruining your mood.

Ya I recorded this earlier in the day so the hours were better for Poland. I think next time I might try for Ireland or another country.

I can't even tell you how relatable this is to how I see things. Gained some major nuggets from this. Thanks Rob! Also, when you said you're staying at the hotel with a friend that made me really wish I had a trip with a friend booked right now lol

This is a FANTASTIC video, thank you so much. I come across so well in real life but i PANIC SO MUCH when cold calling. I have a minor stammer and I am so scared of messing up and especially in front of others. I do find that once I get the first couple of calls over the line, things do become easier. Any tips for when I struggle to say a hard name? Thanks

Hi, Great video. I have a Web design question. Last summer about 8 months ago I called a client, a supermarket chain who had a "coming soon" sign or notice on their website address and I told them I could build their site. They told me they already talked to other people to build their site. I asked to give them my number just in case but they said it wasn't needed. Now about 8 months later their website address has the same "coming soon" sign. What should I do? Call them again? Could they still be working with same people who were supposed to build their site? Shouldn't the website be finished after about 8 months? Any advice?
