15 years in web design and I am discovering your videos just now. Keep up the outstanding work. I hope my comment is encouraging. Your videos are loaded with priceless gems for new designers and old salts. I always try to tell folks if you can sell it, the rest will fall into place. The sales skill must be the sharpest.

Since I relied on networking before that's no longer possible. SO I'm going to try FB and Google ads -- Any luck with either of these Rob? Thinking of how to position the advertisement.. maybe discounted services due to covid.

I'd try Linkedin also - I've been networking on there for a few months now with decent results

@@ShanePullen Networking on Linkedin? How do you mean? I can't imagine many business owners being on that platform during these times since all events are cancelled

How advanced does your coding go for these clients? For example if a client asked you to implement something like live videos through their site, how would you go about that?

Great video as always. You always provide amazing insight. I have a question. I'm really eager to get out there and help, but I have no portfolio projects yet. I was going to work with someone I know to get a website up and running for them for free, but they haven't responded to my email with questions regarding the content I'll put on the website. While I assume it's because things are difficult in this climate and he's trying to figure things out, he hasn't responded at all for a long time. I was wondering if I should try to move on to some other prospect. Should I let go of this project and let him know? Thanks, again. Your channel has been an amazing source of help.
@relemampuru47944 жыл бұрын
I'd say send him two more e mails and try call if he doesn't respond after that you can leave it. Cause following up on leads is a huge deal, most clients are like that, you constantly have to keep reaching out
@alyssal.77634 жыл бұрын
@@relemampuru4794 Thank you for your own insight! I'm quite nervous as I'm just starting out, and I'm sure you can tell. I did follow up with him over a week ago and he replied very quickly saying that responses will be delayed due to all the recent events, which I understand. But the time having been over a week did make me a little bit antsy, and I'm really unsure how to find the middle ground to just following up enough before it becomes too much like pestering.
