Jay only wrote five songs for her first album, not all. This came from Jay himself. Nas wrote for her on The Firm then after all that her flow changed and her relationships with them were kinda rocky. Which made me think she started writing her own stuff, well some of it. So I think they just gave her the formula and she ran with it sorta like Kim. Biggie wrote all her stuff during the 90s then we he died she found her own flow etc.
