I was expecting a pre cbs strat with a Dallas arbeuter fuzz and him going crazy but instead I saw a jazzier less aggressive approach with a casino it threw me off at first but great non the least

Hey Smiley Sean, don't you reckon you went a bit too aggressive with the mix, especially the on drums and the bass?
@smileyssean8 жыл бұрын
Nope. I like it how it is. Otherwise, I wouldn't post it. How would you mix this song? Thanks for listening.
@riseofthefallen3018 жыл бұрын
Idk, I would've gone with a slightly jazzier sound, especially on the drums. Having said that, I enjoyed listening to it and still think you did an awesome job. Cheers!
@jimdeeds8 жыл бұрын
I think the mix is sweet. It captures the vibe of their version perfectly. It has a jazzy enough fell to make it different, but also keeps a rocky edge (in the drums). Well done!

Here one example why I usually don't like Gibsons so much... It is such an overpriced guitar that can't even stay in tune one whole fucking song (no matter SG, LP, etc.).
@danieltrickey92855 жыл бұрын
This is why I don't like jazz. It downplays energy. I'm not knocking his guitar skills, it's just the genre.

This arrangement is way more creative then all the Hendrix wannabes.
