500k and he gave us over 350 games 12 years of service, picked up 4 Golden Gloves, 2 PL 2 LC and the FA cup. So sorry the way it ended still doesn't sit right to this day deserved far better. Glad he's smashing it in Celtic.

Sad that it didn't work out for him. Genuinely think that he could have been a better fit under Pep than Claudio. Luckily his last official game for us ended in a win (Delphy🐐) and a clean sheet. Miss him

Pep's "harsh decisions" are the reason why the club has been mad successful, consistent and one of the best in Europe in the last 7 years. You can't get too attached to the players as a Manager, because one day they might not play the same way they were doing yesterday, and you'll need to move on from these players and bring in someone else, who's hungrier to win trophies and in a better shape. If you look at Liverpool this season, they're performing below their standards because Klopp created a bond with his players and refused to bring in players, any players really, and now the likes of Fabinho, Van Dijk, Robertson aren't playing that well, so the team is suffering.
@paramtageja6891
@paramtageja6891 Жыл бұрын
@@geckopubg obviously I'm not saying Pep was wrong he was right in what he did which is clear from the success. But as a fan you get attached to your favourite players and Yaya was the idol and it was hard to see it end the way it ended and I think it also tarnished his legacy he doesn't get the respect he deserves he was so good there was nothing he couldn't do
@Alex-bv7dy

Considering Claudio Bravo was awful makes you think that decision wasn't one of Pep's best. Joe Hart should've stayed until Ederson came in and Joe could've been a good veteran support similar to what Carson does.

Hart was England's main keeper in 3 majors and he didn't cover himself in glory at Euro2012 especially his shootout vs Italy, a really poor WC2014 and Euro2016 was an embarrassment where he also made 2 howlers that led to goals vs Wales & Iceland so when Pickford comes in and helps win England a WorldCup shootout gets to first major Semi-final in over 20years and then keeps several clean sheets at Euro2020 & even saved a pen in England's first major final in 55 years from a penalty specialist it's a bit obvious why he's in the team & Hart isn't. Hart had his chance.

Unfortunately Hart reached his peak at 25 and became too prone to errors and had one too many faults in his game and with his inability to play sweeper keeper his time at City under Pep's leadership didnt even start. Pep was straight with him, even Hart has admitted that, and he was finished as a top flight keeper. Subsequent failed moves to Italy, Blackburn and Spurs proved that and although he's been okay in the Scottish farmers league, Pep has been proven that he made the right decision for City as a club.

He made multiple title-winning saves in the run in to the Agueroooo goal and for about 4 years there wasn't a better GK in the PL, but then he seemed to develop a sort of fault where he would concede goals low to his left and I think some opposition may have cottoned onto it. Seemed like his confidence dropped and by Pellegrini's latter period he was making mistakes for club and country He will always have that night in Barcelona, the night his heroics made Messi collapse on the floor in frustration and disbelief. Not many can say that about the GOAT
