Mabel is demonstrating what doc is capable of when his throw game is developed. Most ppl just down air until they go for back throw. But his up and forward throw are great options with some true combos and good mix ups. When doc is optimized everytime we touches you he gets you off stage for a ledge trap or edge guard or if he gets a read or down throw at the ledge you're just dead.

I keep saying this but give doc a better recovery and he will excel. The problem is you have to play so much better than your opponent because you die at like half the percent most of the cast does due to a garbage recovery.

Been playing Doc for years. I saw some things that were massive brained. Adapting to getting punished out of shield, adapting to getting ledge guarded, punishing fire breath by hitting Bowser’s head with back air, baiting up special out of shield, reading shields with a follow up grab after a combo, landing on shield with 50/50s. Holy moly. This Doc’s got it figured out! Mabel knows this character through and through! It pleases me to see underdeveloped characters being pushed by talented people, who give a crap about this game! 😤

New stages, like outside of the "tournament legal" ones? I think the only new stage that is really (wifi) tournament legal is small battlefield. I'm not super sure if it will be allowed offline though
