Nobody has so far described how to accurately set the current sensor Scale and Offset parameters correctly. It can be done, but it requires something like a ToolkitRC M6D, some math, and maybe a 100nF capacitor. That does not mean your method is without value though, but it isn't accurate.

So yes logic is (statement if a(batt is less than 21v AND arm switch is on then haptic feedback, otherwise the amount of haptic was on when programming) Hope this seems correct to you? Thanks so much

Thanks for the video. I'm running a tiny whoop with a 200mAh 1S lipo, it was showing my draw between 11-13amps. I fully charged my lipo, to 4.2V adjusted the battery Voltage scale in Betaflight until it read the same. Amps at that time said I was using 5A+ draw with nothing connected, but the lipo. After charging my battery I flew lazily around my home for 1 minute. Upon disarming my OSD reported that I had used 530mAh. How the heck is that? As I mentioned, my lipo is a 1S 200mAh. Adjusting scale now.

Nice video, very helpful. However... I have followed the steps and I get the following: When I plug my fully charged 4S battery into my quad the voltage used to show 15.6. I've gone into betaflight and in the power & battery tab change the scale up all the way to 152 and now it ready the battery correctly at 16.8v (while the battery checker is plugged in). But I've taken one of my other batteries that are in storage mode 14.8v... and checked again... Voltage still shows at 16.8 even though the plugged-in battery checker displays 14.8... Any ideas as to what I'm doing wrong here?

Also on OSD the readings are incorrect. Before that, i got bridge between the two resistoe then removed it then voltage reading is back at betaflight but not accurate.

Thank you for this! Does this need to be done for each type of battery a quad will use? I have one that can use both 2s and 3s. If if I did this with the 2s battery attached would it only be valid for the 2s and not the 3s?
@TMacFPV3 жыл бұрын
I would think it would be the same Nathan however I have not tested it myself. My recommendation is to calibrate using the process with a 2S or 3S. then fly the other cell battery 3S or 2S and do the process again to see if it changes much. It will probably change a little (it does that even for the same # of cells batteries). Then you'll know for sure

@@TMacFPV got it. So it’s not necessary to calibrate for every battery then.

how do you calibrate RXBT telemetry data in Jumper T16? I deleted all sensors and rediscovered them and I'm still getting the incorrect battery voltage reading on my Jumper T16 under RxBT in telemetry screen. I followed steps in this video to calibrate betaflight and I get correct reading in video OSD but not on my transmitter. I tried using "offset" but the reading just froze to the value I adjusted to and wouldn't change.
@TMacFPV4 жыл бұрын
So you've got battery voltage on OSD by toggling on what exactly in your OSD? You're expecting to see "battery voltage" in your transmitter with the Rxbt value? What receiver are you using?
@nayt33z4 жыл бұрын
@@TMacFPV yes i can see the voltage in goggles which i setup through OSD tab in betaflight (current voltage). I'm using R-XSR flashed to latest ACCST F-port firmware. I have smartport pin connected to SBUS designated UART on my Tyro119 FC.
@TMacFPV4 жыл бұрын
FPort setup video here may help kzbin.info/www/bejne/nqitpaGhi9ZlbZY Also, if I'm not mistaken, battery voltage on RXSR is VFAS values in transmitter, not RxBt. With Crossfire, it's RxBt
@nayt33z4 жыл бұрын
@@TMacFPV Well I'm an idiot. RxBt (receiver Battery) is the voltage the receiver is getting >4.9V in my case. LOL. Thank you for sending me that other link that helped me realize my main issue is my flight controller is not sending telemetry to my R-XSR. I tried all combinations of serialrx_inverted and serialrx_halfduplex on and off and it doesn't seem to work. I have telemetry enabled in betaflight config tab as well. And I'm running Betflight 4.2.0. I have smartport pin connected to my F4 Flight controllers designated (inverted) SBUS pad. Is this wrong?
@TMacFPV4 жыл бұрын
Nathan watch the video on FPort through the link I sent you starting at the 2:15 time mark. Pay attention to the requirements for FPort on and F4 flight controller. It needs to be an inverted bi-directional port. Although inverted, I do not believe your SBUS port satisfies the bi-directional requirement. Bottom line is this: trying to get FPort to work on an F4 flight controller requires a "special port" which very few have. Its a better idea to go back to SPort and SBus (just one more wire) with an F4 flight controller.

What play track are you over wrighting for low lq?
@TMacFPV4 жыл бұрын
Its a custom sound link I made using the process I describe in this video (which works for any transmitter using OpenTX operating system firmware): kzbin.info/www/bejne/iITbdWyKnZaJetE The sound track itself I have made available for you here (but used "TMac" in it so you'd most likely want to make your own--see custom sound video link provided earlier in this comment): drive.google.com/file/d/1Kx1NTGGHtZ_7V94r13PbTKt8HtbInne2/view?usp=sharing You can also use the stock sounds sigcrt or siglow in the sounds folder. You don't have to "overwrite" any sound file to make a custom sound. You can make and save a brand new custom sound without overwriting any of the other ones in the folder

There is absolutely no need to take your props off if you are only connecting your quad to your computer via USB. Motors will only ever spin if there is a lipo connected, and I can bet my life on this.
@TMacFPV4 жыл бұрын
Correct Steddie FPV. Encouraging folks to practice good habits so they keep all their fingers. It's very easy to "start" working on quad without LiPo (with props on) thinking you won't need it. Then, you transition to needing/wanting to power quad with LiPo and its a nuisance to take props off. "It's only for a few minutes. "It won't happen to me." Before you know it . . . However, yes, you are indeed correct.
