I love and pray about what God is doing for you. I can relate, my parent was a damaged (PTSD) somewhat self-focused, easily manipulated person who married a third spouse and that spouse turned to be a psychopath who caused ruination for our whole family. This person strategically planned every living moment of their lift to manipulate others in order to destroy them and get what they want. We were that person's pawns. Had this person been a serial killer and killed all of us, that would have been MERCY in comparison to what they did. I get what people who deal with these narcissistic types have gone through. Please pray for our family too and for this person to come to God and repent. Thank you. God bless, heal and protect you.

Thank you so much for this sermon! My mother, a Protestant, is also a narcissist. I am 60 yrs old this April & I still have nightmares about her. Still a constant question in myself that I’m so messed up because of her & how do I handle this. For so long I just got mad at even the smallest contact with her, & I couldn’t understand why she makes me so mad. It’s because she can’t love. I must forgive her. Every day. Every time. She’s mentally ill -& maybe even possessed from some of the things I’ve seen her do & say. Thank you Fr for this healing sermon. I can get righteously mad when she plays favorites so cruelly with my grandchildren where they can see how she treats them, & the list goes on & on. But I still must forgive her. We are both a work in progress… May God bless you!

When she again tried to very disrespectful to me; I intentionally did not even say anything as if I did not hear any rebuke and false accusations just for the sake of the SACRED HEART. But, for some reason, for the first time. she UNDERSTOOD what is disrespect! From that day, she was not shouting at me anymore. Alleluia! I praise and THANK Lord GOD. My sister is now my best friend. I forgive her many times as many as she opens her mouth.

Thank you Father! Without giving the hurt that agonizes our heart, that makes us angry at “jerks”, through confession or in adoration, at the foot of Jesus’ Cross, we can not forgive anyone. We need to recognize that the task of forgiveness is way too big for we mere creatures to conquer alone. It is the power of God and our will, together, that forgiveness is achieved. And then we are free and in God’s Peace!

I'm watching this again. I am asking Jesus to forgive those I feel I cannot forgive. In Scripture, Jesus said, "I will contend with those who contend with you." I have been repeating this over and over and working on releasing my anger but am still stuck on whether or not I have actually forgiven them. This is so difficult since what they did amounts to murder and deep betrayal. I wonder if they are asking Jesus for forgiveness for their sins? If I assume Jesus forgives them of their evil deeds, who am I to withhold forgiveness? I have forgiven many for abusing me my entire life in every way possible. But this last situation has me struggling since it ended with the untimely and unexpected death of my dear father. My grief and anger have persisted for many months. I need to release this from my soul. I will continue to ask Jesus to forgive them. I know this is an old video, but any feedback to my situation would be appreciated. God bless all of us struggling in this way.
