Me thinks there is a lot to what he is saying to those who have ears to hear. His broad suggestive conclusions connecting esoteric metaphysical systems with cutting age physics and consciousness thinkers is a convergence that I felt deeply for over 30 years since my pursuit of these ideas began in earnest

Wow some fascinating theory in this. I’ve been intrigued with Penrose/Hameroff’s theory although it’s problematic, this is offering a new take. His delivery was intense almost manic. He kept referring to himself as “we”. Was he referring to himself or a team of colleagues he is working on this with? I think Freddy tried to ask this in regards to the maths. Will listen twice to unpack. Brilliant podcast kept them coming!

I actually think that Tsang might be schizophrenic. I don’t think he said anything but “symmetry is everything” over and over. It’s like he sees these “symmetries” in everything but he’s literally just explaining causes and effects. It was completely disjointed, literally to the level of an insane person.

If there is one "thing" that I think resists the discipline of reductionism and any formal finite structural explanation it's "consciousness". We even struggle to define consciousness - what hope is there to try and explain it in our normal objective and scientific way? Fun trying though isn't it ladies and gentlemen. (I hope that I am not leaving anyone out or creating offence by using the general phrase "ladies and gentlemen". We wouldn't want an international incident - especially in the neurotically inclined and culturally insecure West)

The guy knows not what he says, to put it politely. He just comes out with word salad, inserting scientific words totally out of context. He doesn't explain very much in a coherent manner.
