Fractal, no matter the tone being emulated, just sounds better, more balanced, more responsive, than any other builder. I’ve noticed this with many different players & musical styles. It’s the aspirational modeler for me.

Screw watching other players. I *have* tried every modeler and didn’t want to buy the most expensive one. FAS is king, no doubt about it.

Johnny is up, with new updates, Sounds GREAT!!!! I have an fm9 coming friday, really excited to see just how GREAT it is!! Will be Getting the Gumroad Folder for sure. LOVE CORDY PRESETS/Sounds. John knows how to DIAL in those MESA BOOGIES for sure. Just SNARLS and BARKS.

I love John’s playing style and tone but to be honest he is able to make any of these modelers sound correct for his style. I actually really enjoyed the Satriani video which dealt with some different tones. Keep up the good work!

That 800 has such a nice Sparkle to it for sure, I used to own the combo it never sounded that good. Mine the Bias was crap on the amp. I knew a band that gigged the head, he liked the 800, and hated the 900, and I could tell a sound difference between them. they were Hi Volume band to, much Higher than what Jnc gigs at, they had a huge PA system. 18 inch Woofer for Kick Drum.

Buy a small USB plug extension for the back so that you do not have to unplug from the unit itself. Mine broke in under two weeks which prompted me to do some research and I found quite a few people had this issue. They may have fixed it but why risk it. Google "fm3 usb plug issue".

what are you using to deliver these tones? the extreme large richness of these amps is above just a DI into a DAW- can you elaborate how you recorded this?

That was due to him saving the preset. That wasn't a channel, scene, preset gap.
