Fractal noise deserves a long, separate episode about the examples of its application :) It's huge!

This is great, I was thinking a few weeks ago about how I should probably go over effects just as an overview and reminder, it's like Jake read my mind. Keep 'em coming!

My favorite effect is fractal noise. We can create very interesting results. And it is not efficient in a single way. Combining with other effects could result in wonderful outcomes, :) Thank you for giving detail information about it :)

It's great to walk us through the option, but I think it would be much better if you'd give some practical usage for these effects!

Great Tutorial! What does "Turbulence Factor" in the Turbulent Noise effects do?

It's been years and I never knew you could loop fractal noise. I almost didn't even watch this video because I thought I knew everything about fractal noise already.

Great tutorial and I love your teaching style. You always explain all the options of these effects that others don't.

Great video ! Will you make a longer video about fractal and turbulent noise (maybe just turbulent noise according to your tutorial) to see all the possibilities ? :) Thanks again for your work ;)

Hi! Im trying to find a way to reduce the amount of the black produce by the fractual noise but im unable to. Could you point me in the right direction? (not by changing brightness)
@JakeInMotion2 жыл бұрын
The brightness and contrast values are the easiest way. You could also try adding a tint effect after and changing the black color to a lighter gray.

Would be useful to see a really quick practical example.
@JakeInMotion3 жыл бұрын
Agreed, but my focus on this series is to present the effect, explain what it does and walk through the controls. I will include examples as often as I can but there are going to be well over 100 of these videos and it's just not realistic to spend that much time on each and every one of them.
@evolnull1253 жыл бұрын
@@JakeInMotion sure, I understand. And I assume this type of effects do not usually work on their own but in groups with lots of others on top.
@JakeInMotion3 жыл бұрын
Exactly; many effects are used in combination to make interesting results.
