Your tutorials are unbelievably clear and concise -- absolutely no fluff. I like how you explain each option in an effect and why it works the way it does. I also appreciate you narrating every action you take, making these videos extremely beginner-friendly. I'm very happy I discovered your channel!

I’m 4:41 seconds in. I’ve made realistic fire using a boat load of displacement maps and various other effects following a tutorial and I’ve already learned more about them in the 5 minutes here than the hours spent playing with fire. Thank you so much and I hope you get a bajillion views.

the best explanation i have seen on displacement maps. Thank u for going into detail down to the pixel color calculations. It is really important for people to understand WHY the effect works the way it does rather than just "this does that"

You can make some freaky transitions using videos as displacement maps. Especially, maybe, if the video clips being transitioned between have people, and the displacement map video has that too.

Here you explain color channels. It’s interesting how ipv4 uses 255 bits and the rgb color channels also use that number. I’m guessing it’s because 32 bit architecture was dominant forever.

Make a video about Displacement with Other Video Data as the Reference - I'm not sure what the Effect is called, but I'm pretty sure it's a type of Displacement, and it just Transitions between Scenes by Mapping the Prior Scene to the Following one, allowing the Motion in the Following Scene to Carry the First Scene for a short time before the Criteria for Sustaining the Mapping Fall Off and the Second Scene becomes completely visible. It's used all the time in the Adult Swim show Off the Air. Check it out, you'll definitely see what I mean.
