I deeply fell in love with this song when it originally was sung by the pretty blonde Witch Sarah in the Disney movie Hocus Pocus it was called Sarah's theme in the movie and was a shorter version of this and then Kate Covington recorded this longer version of the same song.

These lyrics first surfaced around 2002, with the false attribute to Edgar Allen Poe. I still say this is the song that they played in adventure time when everyone turned to candy. It fits perfectly vs the older song everyone was saying it was. A menevolent sentient bubblegum wad who created her own kingdom who mostly all have the iqs of children she's tried to even bring them back to life alongside creating multiple candy species among other things and one day everything goes haywire and she turns into a giant blob who turns everyone into smaller candy people and people who weren't and they were all going to merge with her to be safe. If you dont know who that is because the leaked video has already been supressed, lemme explain. A little ukrainian girl, no older than 7, was walking down a sidewalk, clutching a teddy bear in both arms. She looked so sad and distraught. You know those horrendous little butterfly mine things ukraine uses? The only thing left of her other thank chunks of gore was her arm still holding that teddy bear. I will never forget the teddy bear girl, and I will speak out about it in her memory until the day I day, likely fighting in ukraine, because I'm just waiting to get enough money for a passport, plane tickets, and the documents I need from the ukranian embassy in the u.s. To volunteer to fight. As long as I have breath in my body, the teddy bear girl will not be forgotten. No, I am not joking. On my honor as a united states marine, I am not joking about joing nor am I joking about the teddy besr girl. It hurt my soul so fucking much to see thst video, but as soon as I seen somethin about it I knew in my gut that I needed to watch it. I am deeply saddened by that video, but I will do everything I can when I am finally over there, to ensure that at least 1 kid is saved because of me, before I die. Anything more than 1 is more than I can ask for, but highly appreciated. If my sacrifice means I make some kind of positive impact on their lives, then its not even a question. I would pay that price in a heartbeat, and I would still feel like I underpaid.
