Le Male from Jean Paul Gaultier was my first signature scent. Whilst it's still nice it isn't quite what it used to be. DUA fragrances "DUA Man" is inspired by the vintage formulation of "Le Male". In this video I discuss whether it is better than the Le Male that is selling today.

Yeah the editing was awesome in this one. Jeremys videos the last 1-1,5 years has really gone downhill. I clearly recall old skool Le Male. It totally blows todays juice out of the water. I spray on todays formulation and i get maybe 2 hours of smelling it on my skin. The mid 90s version.....id wear it out in the pubs and clubs, back when smoking was allowed and i could still clearly smell it on my skin and clothes 24 hours later. It was a massive performer

I've been anticipating this review. I did a blind buy of Dua Man in early February, suspecting it would sell out, which it did within one or two days. It was restocked and then sold out again. I can't contain my enthusiasm for this new release. Fans of Le Male and fragheads brace yourselves. This fragrance is stunning! It is a high quality scent with beast mode projection and performance. It could make anyone's top 10 favorites list, designer or niche. None of the praise is exaggerated. Chris, your enthusiasm is understandable. Your review, probably the first on KZbin, really does the fragrance justice. I always look forward to your reviews. Now let's wait for the enthusiasm to spread!

Thanks Chris,lovely fragrance. I remember taking a 100ml with me on a holiday but at the airport they wouldn’t let this through cause of 9/11 concerns. I had to bin it but instead i sprayed it on myself & i offered it around the other people waiting in the que with me. Everyone were all smelling great. Then I opened my suitcase & sprayed all my clothes. I couldn’t just throw this in the bin. Hopefully i can get a bottle to try from Dua. All hail Dua!

I got so excited when I saw this pop up. What a coincidence, I just got my Dua Man recently on ebay, it was out of stock on Dua's website when I tried to get it there so I'm glad to see it's back now. As soon as I sprayed it, it teleported me back. It's so good. The modern Le Male is really good and I still wear it but this stuff just got me right in the feels, right in the heart- it almost made me emotional lol. I hadn't smelled that smell in soo long and it lasts for days. Since Dua's scents are extrait de parfum, they almost smell like an amped up version of what they're cloning and that's amazing...I was never into Dua but this made me immediately buy 3 more. If you're on the fence, it's really that good, I can't say enough about it. The Fucking Fabulous clone is very good as well, I'd love to hear Frag-mentals take on that EDIT: The opening is a little intense and makes me sneeze lmao...But I will gladly take it bc when it settles down in about 15-20 minutes, it's a spitting image of the old Le Male

I also had what you may call an OG formulation and it did use to smell much more robust and last longer..I remember washing my clothes and I could still smell it on them..The only close clone I found is Cuba Gold,it smells 97% similar to me,but it looks like I need to try Dua Man

I do still love the smell although I no longer wear the fragrance and haven't done in years. I remember that the shower gel would come in a toothpaste style tube, metallic look, absolutely brilliant. And as for the commercials, especially the one with the sailors getting ready to go out, that one, unbelievably sexy.

I'm right there with you.I loved it back in the early 2000s, and still love it. However, I have aways loved it as a daily driver, than a clubbing fragrance. Yes, it worked for standing out in the club, but I didn't want to wear it for that. I'm glad Dua did this, and will have to buy a bottle to compare the two. ❤❤❤

i can only compare it to the 2019 Le Male (since i have the 75ml).. but the 2019 le male is more sweeter, has more vanilla and more of that baby powder scent while the DUA MAN has a less of that and is heavier, on the earthier and dirtier spices..the lavander is also turned up a bit more too. The projection and longevity on DUA is off the charts! this thing lasts and will fill up a room with just 2 sprays. only downside is that it leaves your skin a little oily, especially if you spray up close.you get more of the lemale opening on dua, than le males sweet baby powdery drydown, if that makes sense

Any vintage Le Male will say 'Jean Paul Gaultier Parfums' or 'Gaultier Parfums'. The next batch will say Le Male, BPI France. Now, the newest weak batches say Puig Spain. Don't waste your time and money on the newest stuff.
