I can't get over that you are my favorite fragrance reviewer. It took me by surprise. You really know your stuff. Every fragrance I have is mine, and I wear them. You really explain the fragrance. I would like to hear every reviewer tell us when the fragrance was worn, how many sprays,
@NPRGAdmin Жыл бұрын
Excellent. I have several of these. Notably, I like wearing 40 Knots in Fall/Winter and will be wearing 1819 to a November wedding because the bride loves it on me. I have collected frags for decades and have cheapies as well as high-ends, which I wear sparingly. I’ve been watching and reading you for years and I appreciate your taste level and diversity of appreciation. You educate amateurs as well as enthusiasts. Thank you.

Carlisle is still my signature along with Dior Homme Parfum. It hasn't gotten me many compliments yet but the way this fragrance makes me feel like a boss is what puts it above the other scents in my collection

@@SchoolOfScent That's how it's supposed to be. Wear fragrances for yourself first and foremost. I personally also love Bentley For Men Intense. Lucky to have a bottle of *Reflection 45* and it smells as expensive as it is, pure luxury and class! Trying montobacco intensivo on skin today and it's beautiful! Black Iris is ridiculously good!

I have a sample of reflection 45. Amazing! I feel like a king when I spray it on. I also got montabaco intesivo based on your recommendation. Elegance in a bottle! Carlisle smells awful when I spray it on my skin, but the dry down is amazing! I need to try the xerjoff

Being a fragrance enthusiast, I have often found myself struggling with the urge to buy full bottles of my favorite scents. However, after much contemplation, I have come up with a solution that works for me. I have started buying 2, 5, or 10 mL decants instead of full bottles. As a result, I now have a collection of about 40 fragrances, including clones, designer and niche scents. I find it more practical to have a variety (>50) of smaller decants than a few full bottles of just a few fragrances. This strategy has been working great for me for the past 6 months.
@Chilltown957 ай бұрын
You don’t need 50 decants… just buy full bottles of your top 5-10 out of the 50, and to say you have a fragrance in your collection when it’s just a decant is a bit misleading

I bought the 40 Knots sample directly from Xerjoff. And I can say that if you have grown up in Vietnam like me, its smell is not nice at all. It recalls me about my childhood herbal medical liquid (Dau Gio) for curing sickness. The only way I can make it smell better is spraying it on my hand and then washing my hand, somehow the smell is much more pleasant for my nose. Just my thought for any Vietnamese guys here.

I think the trend today is to hype cheapies and clones, but then, as their nose develops, people are left with shelves full of crap that they don’t wear and is worthless to sell and ship. Much better to have fewer fragrances that are higher quality.

And risking to purchase the discovery set for 70$ just to have 4ml of 2 scent i'm not interested in and just 4ml of 2 scent i'm curious about but that i can potentially dislike, is killing my brain... What do i do?...

Great video. It seems to me all the fragrances is all I need. They are for all seasons. Great quality over quantity. 3-4 sprays is all it takes to have a great smell over you only after you have taken a shower. I own Xerjoff 40Knots, and yes, it is an absolutely great fragrance. I must say my favorite fragrance is Red Tobacco. One thing that I have figured out, is that, I really like wearing a different fragrance on a daily basis. I currently own 23 fragrances and I feel that maybe ten more would be all I need. Not sure if this will be possible.

I personally like OUD perfumes, however due to the extensive use of Oud throughout the Middle East, OUD has cultivated an unspoken tone of racism from my personal experience. I have had women comment that they hate the smell because its pungent, overpowering and reminds them of arrogant Arabic men from the Middle East… I was shocked by the reaction and this put me off wearing Oud perfumes in the Western and Asian countries.
