FRAMING A SHIPPING CONTAINER HOUSE - COMPLETE GUIDE. This video brings to you 7 simple steps on; How to Install Timber Framing, Insulation and Plasterboard Lining inside a Shipping Container House. Stay tuned as we take you through step by step. Framing inside a shipping container house is quite different to a normal timber frame house. Shipping containers are made of corten steel with corrugated walls and therefore you can't attach plasterboard directly onto the walls. In addition, it’s not advisable to screw the boards directly onto the container wall. To keep your shipping container watertight, the walls need to be framed out first with timber before putting any interior finish. something caught my attention.... for wall cabinet for example; I guess the studs are the one that are going to support all that weight of the wall cabinets, aren't they going to be so heavy for the studs ?
