Also, your Inner Being is really not wanting you to jolt yourself from the consciousness of this time - space reality and view your world from that Consciousness. Abraham Hicks Timeless Metta =)

What is "inner being"? Seems a weird thing to say in Buddhism.

***** Not sure what part of the video you are mentioning, but inner being would refer to the emotional state. Being in the sense of "well being", not in the sense of "human being".

Sorry, Ajahn Jayasaro is my favorite monk on KZbin and I absolutely know that he has no belief in the idea of a permanent self (soul). You might be right as to interpretation, I was just thinking out loud. It is just that i have noticed an attempt to sneak something in to the 5 khandhas that could be understood as that "true self" by not a few, certainly not by the venerable.

***** Ajahn Sona has some Dhamma talks on the subject of emotion that has helped me sort out the true reality vs experience thing. His talk titled "Birken in Belgrade # 3: Metta..." talks about how emotional reality really is the only true reality we can speak of. I am no expert but here is a sutta about those who misinterpret the teachings and how it leads to alot of suffering www.accesstoinsight.org/lib/authors/nyanaponika/wheel048.html EDIT: That sutta uses some harsh language and so I hope it dosent offend :) metta

Thank you...nice to know someone well versed! I was aware of the sutta but thanks for the opportunity to re-read it.
