Prof Nelson - I graduate in '84 and I too have a timberframe home. Would love to share our adventure over 20 years ago when we built a home with the Amish. What a wonderful experience.

I love the house, but I really like your theological applications to building a life and a home. I can't build a dog house (I tried that, once), but I can build a life theologically/biblically as any dedicated believer can do. I think that is where most of us really are in our skill set. So, as much as I love your house and envy your home and abilities, I am more interested in the biblical principles and real life applications. Hello Derek, this is the great source of timber house , thanks a lot , adrorable. Could you please describe how you attached timber post to plywood floor ? or sills ? and how did you attache sill plates to concrete ?
