Imagine that. People who work and learn real-world stuff have a better sense of humor than adult children too old to be in college (but pretend to be young and cool), who have Reddit gold and never missed The Daily Show, and so think Jon Stewart is a genius.

I did college out of highschool for 5 years. Switched majors 3 times. Dropped out. Just started working electrical construction last year. I’m less (mentally) stressed. I get sleep. I feel like a man now. I work harder than I ever have. I feel more confident than I ever have. I used to be shy and overly-polite. Now I crack edgy jokes with the cashier. I feel more motivated to go back to school now more than I ever have, and I can’t tell if it’s from all I’ve described above, or if it’s because I’m afraid a $65k master electrician salary won’t be enough when I get to that level. I wish my parents never forced me to go to college. Honestly, I’m glad I did it the way I did. Waste of time, but I am who I am now bc of it.

I'm a drywall finisher and lmao the whole video. I can relate, but I will admit drywallers are a little more rowdy. I've never seen a drywaller who's worked more than a few months, not sing to himself. We'll be working and all of a sudden out of nowhere lyrics of some song are being practically yelled😂. I thought they were legitly crazy and took getting used to, maybe because I'm a girl, but after doing drywall a few years, I get it.

Been in construction basically since I could walk, my grandpa owns a general construction company and ince I could walk he always had be do little jobs some of my favorite memories in construction were from that. Once I got older I split off from him, I chuckled pretty hard when you mentioned taking out the days fustration. I had a small demo job to do before I could go home on a Friday and was pissed they only had me do so instead of a 10 minute job it would be an hour by myself, so I was going extremely hard busting out concrete stars with a maul since of coarse nobody brought a jack hammer in site. Well my fucking boss had the nerve to come up to me explaining that I was going to crazy trying to break the steps out and that it was unprofessional, I couldn't believe it so since I was already in ot I slowed down took my time a little over 2.5 hours(5.pm on a Friday) then he had the nerve to come back over and yell at me for taking to long and that I was milking it for money! I was younger and I sadly completely lost it and never worked for that a hole again lmao
