Ryan Martinie was also the reason why I got into Warwick basses. Well, Stuart Zender also.

Ryan Martinie, Robert Trujillo, Evan Brewer, Jon Stockman and Amos Williams got me into Warwick. The rock bass stuff is great for the money and I would stick with this company for life if I had the money.

Yes!! Ryan Martinie is a GOD on the bass and Warwick is just a perfect fit for him and Mudvayne!!!
@violator5K11 жыл бұрын
Same happened to me!! I heard Mudvayne's album "L.D. 50" and the bass sounded so well and distinct.
@TheMikeakers4 жыл бұрын
Mudvayne influence is super apparent in your playing, so much so I was positive Ryan was Putin!

Likes Ryan Martinie and BTBAM? The man has great taste! And Ryan's tone on the Beginning of All Things to End is my personal favorite, and is why I bought a NT Thumb 5...
@josephwalton4874 жыл бұрын
6 years too late on this, but Ryan Martinie...Ryknow, BR BR DENG, Ru-d....was not the bass player on The Beginning Of All Things To End (originally titled Kill I Oughta). That would be Shawn Barclay.

I wish they'd dial some of the treble of... too much fret noise!
@skatterpro8 жыл бұрын
Not the case when Nick plays in a technical death metal/grindcore band with guitars tuned to B or drop A. For any sort of note definition in that, extremely hectic, setting you NEED the click. You're just not the target audience here.
@mechanichalpixels8 жыл бұрын
You are probably right - but for the sake of demonstrating your equipment and abilities, I find it entirely useful to dial in your tone according to your surroundings.
@skatterpro8 жыл бұрын
I'd say it's more important to show off your personal tone when making an in depth video about why someone is associated with a brand, what he does and why he does it. But, hey, it's all personal preference. Personally I think it sounds absolutely amazing.
@mechanichalpixels8 жыл бұрын
I hear you. It's just not my thing I guess.
@CamxCam.5 жыл бұрын
I would attribute it to sloppy playing rather than anything else. Love Cephalic Carnage, but Nick doesn't seem to be the "demo" type of player.
