Prague Moon , Croatia dominated the first 15 minutes of the 2nd half. In fact, I would say they were the better team in 80 of the 90 minutes. It was only a 10 minute span from France's 3rd goal to Mandzukic's goal. Croatia tried to get that 2nd goal by putting there fullbacks up top. Because of bad refereeing, they were made to chase the game constantly. This made them open in the back and easy for France to exploit that space.

Great producers of footballers, they forgot to mention Eden Hazard, was joined the youth academy of French club Lille LOSC at 14 yo before getting his first professional contract for that same club in Ligue 1. In the final, it was a penalty at 100% for the following reasons : When a player touch the ball with his arm or hand and that touch changes the direction of the ball it is a penalty. It was penalty at 100%. We have seen many penalties given for far less. True that Croatia had 60% of the possession against France but what is the point if you can not score. France has won 3 major tournament in 20 years and played 5 major tournament so live with that. There was no robbery at all in that final, you are just disappointed because your team lost. So to all the one who are pissed off because France won and because you don not like that team, live with it lol, and learn the rules of the game. Congrats to Croatia they played well they deserved to be in final but a match has to be WIN and France knows hoe to win it. Well, they did much more than France did. Two game changing bad referee decisions that let France score two goals. In this stage, it is impossible to recover from that. If the rules were that every hand contact with ball is penalty, than this would be penalty. But the rules are not like that (and with good reason). As for the answer to rest, give a Croatia 2 goal for free, and we would see if France would recover from that. I don't think they would and I think that Croatia would slam them even harder.
