Most Democrats will vote for any Biden replacement. Whitmer, Newsom, Harris, it doesn’t matter. The spectre of a divisive open convention is overblown.
@Christmas124 ай бұрын
yeah for the most part and Sanders would likely sit that one out too (knowing how weak they all are and how disruptive he is) - they probably shouldn't though it should just go to Kamala, because the convention is a bit far and they need to move quickly on this (fundraising balances don't transfer), the other major names will prefer to run full campaigns next go round, and Kamala is naturally next in line anyway - she might end up losing but at this point its starting to become more about stopping the blood loss in down ballots

As an American, if I want to be a leader in any regards, it’s in the necessity to reform democratic-constitutional politics. France has the right idea with reforming birthright citizenship, but we all have much more to do. Slimy media is half the problem.

How revolting! Get your genetic test done! So- called "race" is ideological, not scientific fact about any nonsensical "purity of blood". No matter the colour of your skin and where you were born , you'll discoveryou've got Afrivan, Asian, Mediterranean Jewish Arabic Scandinavian and the rest in your family's genetic background. Every human bing on earth is such a mish mash revealing millennia of migration and intermarriage. America was built on immigration. MAGGOT Trump's father was an immigrant crook who dudded the gov on taxes, just like his crooked son.

I think most commentators completely miss the point. It is not about who "won" or "lost" the debate. The debate was just an "Emperor new clothes" moment. It could have been any other public event with very high visibility, clearly showing beyond any doubt Biden physical decline. It just happened to be the debate, but it's irrelevant.

If this was 2020 and Biden was running for the first time we would need to be worried but not now when his administration is doing a good job and he is holding up although declining to some extent.The important point is that Biden or any president does not rule alone and there are constraints on what they can do.Trump wants to try to remove those restraints and rule like a dictator and thats why he must be defeated

The precedent being set by the Supreme Court is important and will have wide ranging implications. But the immediate political impact may not be as bad as people think. Judge Chutkin will now have to make a determination of what is and is not individual as opposed to official. She will likely hold hearings with witnesses. In other words the evidence will out again this summer. Conviction or not, putting that before the voters this summer will have the effect of putting the most important of the cases against him in the public realm

I don't think it is smart to replace Biden even if confidence in him is weakening by the day it's not worth it this late in the game. In the UK they had Lizz Truss which lost the confidence after a budget that scared the market but unlike the UK we actually lead the world so cannot afford to swap out leaders based on confidence alone, so no, I am 100% against Biden dropping out or being replaced that is the wrong thing for the USA. Let it go, Trump will probably win even though I plan to vote against him.
@jt57654 ай бұрын
Liz Truss was replaced because the establishment globalists didn't like her & her policies scared them. The conservatives are about to be served up and almighty hammering in this general election because they got rid of her a the replacement was Sunak. We have the highest taxes in history & the worst public services. People want a change. Labour are about to get a supermajority & display just how terrible they actually are. 2029 will be a wipeout Reform government to change the way Britain works.
