As a HKer, we were not as extreme, we don’t even have a military, we were never even a state, we were only a region with a different governing system than China. And right now it has become total obscurity and flooded with disgusting mainlanders and utter corruption. All the good people just fled. What the Syrians went through, endured, HKers will never come close, but what is understandable is being repressed and denied to speak up, to have their freedoms taken away from, and crazy misinformation. Never ignore people that have been silenced. Speak up for injustices because there still is injustices in the world to work through.
