Just a couple of points, the MPAs have been mostly declared in established trawling grounds that have been worked for many many years and a lot of the trawlers are not industrial scale mega ships, many are worked by small crews or even single handed. A lot of this marine conservation is being done for political gain and vote winning, not for conservation of grounds and stocks.
