I couldn't watch Lord Bridgerton die in the series, I just couldn't. As soon as he said he couldn't breathe, I skipped to the next part. I'm a very visual person and fiction or not, a lingering death like that is horrifying, especially when it was something that today could've possibly been prevented via Epi pen or a cricothyrotomy. So yes, to see the connection between Francesca and John is heartbreaking too but at least she found another love according to the book.
