Well, remember that Helga is actually a brilliant person herself. In many ways she is far more mature and intellectual than Phoebes, who doesn't know how to pronounce Sacajawea, haha. That's a reference to the episode "Girl Trouble"

+Nicole Wong actually, Phoebe pronounced it correctly. The 'g' was supposed to pronounced hard not soft. So it's closers to Sah-cog-ah-way-ah which fits with the shoshone version of her name
