Francesca Stergiou - Between Memory and Erasure

This series of painting explore the passing of time, the fragility of existence, and the porous border between absence and presence. Time is spiraling, it moves forward while taking into consideration its past, which constantly produces a succession. Personal identity finds in roots the opportunity for an elucidation of oneself, within a common space of experiences. This project functions as a space of personal introspection relating to aesthetics, values, meanings; and nature.
