Right now there’s only a $250 difference between the two. The elite has very minor differences. Most IMO are just for looks or preferences. Nothing about the elite makes me want to buy it except for the cerakote which I think looks great. But come on nobody needs a pretty gun to hunt. Just needs to go bang. Thanks for the video

@@yotaismygame I have an RMA with them when season ends to send it back. I hope they replace or repair it as cerakote is supposed to stick directly to the metal. It is flaking off to a black layer that is not on the metal. I have asked around and it seems a few people are having the same issue and think there may have been oil or residue on the metal before being coated. The cerakote on my benelli supernova is flawless after 10 years.

It seems like they’re the same gun besides small finishes such as the loading port. A $400 difference seems a little overboard.

Optifade marsh camo, cerakote receiver and barrel, lengthened forcing cones, extended choke tubes, over sized bolt handle and release, and beveled out loading port.

A good Cerakote job will run you up to about $300

Awesome review!!! Looking at either buying an Affinity or an Affinity Elite. Just wondering how the cerakote holds up. That’s going to be my deciding factor whether the cerakote is great of if the camo dip will suffice. Thanks.

Cerakote is the same as the Benelli. Holds up good but it you put it on a metal surface it will wear off if its rubbing back and forth.

Every Day Limits would you recommend the Affinity or the Affinity Elite for performance and durability. Does the cerakote or camouflage hold up better?

@@robinsquires5621 I cant recommend one over the other to you as I have never shot the affinity but I can tell you that I love my affinity elite. I think it is worth it for the extra upgrades you get and you will not regret it.

Have you ever shot clays with the Elite? Like in long clay sessions. Wondering if it beats up your shoulder after a couple hundred rounds. Falling in love with an Affinity 3 elite upland. The grey cerekote is stunning.

Ive shot lots of clays with this gun before duck season started to make sure I was on. I never had a hurt shoulder with the 2 3/4 shells. I shoot 3.5" shells during duck and geese season. They are very nice guns.

@@EveryDayLimits you may have covered this, so I apologize. Hows the pattern? Hopefully not like a Benelli. I’ve read numerous times that Benelli’s, especially M2’s pattern as much as 70/30 high. Benelli recognizes the issue and refuses to make any adjustments. Thanks again.

I am getting ready to buy a Franchi. New for 2021 is a Franchi affinity keratoke Basically a reg affinity 3.5 with the keratoke finish. Just trying to decide between the full camo or the keratoke finish. How is your keratoke holding up? Any recommendations?

I do not know about there new finish but I do know that my cerakote has not handled well. I am sending my gun in at the end of season for an RMA.

It better take steel shot if it’s a waterfowl gun. The neck of the stock looks shorter as well compared to the affinity

It most definitely does. All 3 extended chokes are good for steel shot.

Does the affinity elite 3.5 cycle 2. 3/4 low brass 1 1/8 shells? Does the affinity elite 3 cycle 2. 3/4 low brass. 1. 1/8 or even 1 ounce shells?

my non-elite affinity 3.5 cycles 2 3/4 , 1 1/8 and 1 oz. low brass shells just fine. need to go test 7/8 oz. Rios to see if they cycle fine. I had tested them but the shotgun was missing a critical spring that allowed proper feeding from the magazine tube. that being said, the hulls ejected just fine when fired so i beleive even they will run fine in a proper functioning shotgun.

I don't understand why anyone would purchase the "elite". for 200$ more you can get into a Benelli m2 that swings a lot nicer imo. I had an M2 and now have an affinity 3 and wish I never sold the m2.

I would purchase the elite over SBE 2, not just for price but feel. just my preference though, both quality shotguns but I do love that super high rib on the SBE 2!

@@savagereloader6699 I don't like the SBE 2 either. but the M2 that was available at the time this video was made (before they ruined it with the new model) was basically only a few bucks more than an Affinity elite and a way better gun.
