I love these dove hunting videos. It’s something we really don’t have up here in Alberta… Well, at least not like you all have down there. The only difference between pump and semi, is the slight learning curve to become proficient with a pump action. You can actually be faster than a semi, especially if you have a pump action that can slam-fire. 😂

If you get proficient no need for a semi. I used to shoot just as high of skeet scores with a pump. The doubles were no problem.

Yes, the doves that he is hunting are mourning doves, and they are migratory birds, so they have a season and bag limit. However, another type of dove is the ring-necked dove, which is a pest and invasive. So maybe that's what you are dealing with. Mourning doves can be like pigeons and hog grain and food, and sometimes they are a pest.
