I love the fact that each character has their way of fighting, it's not just random blows, no, everyone has a unique way of fighting, Sonic is fast, he uses his legs a lot, while knuckles uses his fists a lot, tails uses his tools to get advantage by having a disadvantage in physical strength, while shadow uses the emerald abilities, Decoy has the overdrive and Mecha sonic has that dominant essence of grabbing and stamping his opponents

30:59 Damn, that is one nicely animated chilly dog. But seriously, the whole dream sequence with Nick was hands down the best part of the episode (And maybe anti-sonic showing up a Creams house). The dialogue between him and Sonic was really good, had me invested the entire time. And of course, incredible animation as per usual.

This might be the first online sprite animation with a decent plot I’ve ever seen. Also, the animations are smooth as fuck my dude. Even the non-action sequences are next level with how well they characters individuals and show them emoting. Favorite parts were definitely Vanilla being ready to stab a bitch for her daughter and the entire Decoy Vs. Mecha fight. The interactions in both of those was so well done.

Was rewatching this again, and one thing that I love is just how much Decoy’s fighting style is “What if Sonic had a jet engine installed in his back.” Like, you can genuinely tell this is a droid made to imitate Sonic as best as it can, as well as to possibly even go beyond with its additional weaponry. Edit: Also, it’s such a cool mini detail that when Decoy goes into Overdrive his red fire burns so hot it turns blue. Really showing how it pushes him above his limits, even if just for a few moments at a time.

I like how you emphasize how bored Anti-Sonic is of the whole multiverse plan to the point he would’ve preferred that Miles asked him out, emphasizing how instead of being patient and listening like sonic, he is arrogant impatient.

I absolutely love the variety of motion and attacks that have been showed in the battle between Decoy and Mecha. It is really fluid and not easy to take eyes off. Really liked how both of them use their trusters to change their location during the fight. Outro is fantastic, I love it, shows, what will be one the main points of this arc.

I have to say that i love how you wrote Scourge into this universe. I think him showing some level of appreciation while never saying it directly..it does show him to have some level of kindness but hidden under his assholeness. Plus hes good for a lot of interesting exploration with Sonic.

I really loved this episode. Glad this can be one of my Christmas gifts! There are two things that I liked.(Not saying everything else was bad, but these two things I talked to myself about.) 29:55 While “Nick” is evil and trying to take control of Sonic’s mind, he also is kind of a cool demon. I think this is because Sonic’s a cool guy. And since Nick is in his head, I’m sure some of Sonic’s personality is with Nick as well. 34:55 I think this chunk of the episode is creative. Adding Vandalize in for background music is nice. It reminded me of those montages scenes in tv show. Overall, this episode was pretty dang good!

I'm ngl I expected more action but I'm genuinely immersed with the story so it's really hard for me to complain. "Nick" is a really cool character the animations you use for him and the constant smirk on his face really add a lot to him. Decoy also remains cool 38:00 was so bold and the overdrive was nuts. There's just some spelling and grammar that could be fixed up here and there, but I'm excited for part 2!

I've been following you for a while now and I gotta say that the work and effort you and your team put into this project is absolutely astounding. I, and maybe everybody else, love the fact that instead of re-telling the smbz plot like other curret animators, you are coming up with an original story and everything. Rarely have I ever seen any animators to hold such talent and be this consistent; but if ever would be to take a longer break, you'd be fully entitled to it. I really enjoyed that dream sequence, especially when Nick tricked Sonic into thinking that they're both in control, when Nick is actually the ""GOD"". For some reason this feels to me like a BETTER take at Sonic.exe, where sonic's consciousness is lost deep within his mind, being repressed by the one in charge, .exe. This would mean that Nick is not really the manifestation of Sonic's "repressed angst", but rather a parasite, a third party planning to take over. This is a theory I just came up with, but it would definitely make for a wild plot twist 👀 Also, have a happy new year!!!!

That opening scene where Anti-Sonic admitted he thought Miles would ask him out was surprisingly.. sweet? He acted all tough and egotistical, sure, but hearing him be so emotionally vulnerable like that was a wonderful surprise. *Edit:* I just realized it was also foreshadowed at 3:50 ! "I'm sure you're discovering a lot of new things at your age. That's why I'm here, right?" At first I thought he was just being snarky, but he was seriously ready to support Miles in figuring out his feelings 💙💙💙 Same with that sudden "Oooh!! Everything you say?" At 5:18 He was lowkey thinking: "Oooh, now I see how he's trying to lead up to the confession." But then things turned sour after Miles insulted him, and Anti-Sonic had to "re-establish" dominance in their relationship (which is honestly kinda funny now, given the context, lol). It also probably hurt his ego to be called "slow" of all things.

I'm glad, his dialog went through a lot of tweaks before we settled on this. We weren't even sure how vulgar we want to make Scourge at first. Even though profanity had been sparse in this series thus far, we wanted him to be a bit more crass then everyone else without messing up the tone of the series.

So I've finished watching. Man my reaction to Vandalize playing was so fanboy I'm unashamed. I'm loving this. One thing I will say is that the fights feel less like the other animations out there like this. SMBZ and the such. But honestly. I kinda prefer this style. Mind you the other kind I've seen has it's merits I just prefer the slower more methodical stuff. Feels more like slightly speedier version of Sonic Battle which I adore. Makes the fights much easier to analyze and follow. Keep up the great work!

Finally! This part came out in 1 year from the last episode! 40 minutes! The beginnig is very interesting and I hope that continuing will be same! Mails and Alicia - I didn't expect their important role. And I very want to see Anti-Sonic in future. But, unfortunately, I haven't seen many fights... (I need more fight scenes from you!) Me saved last fight between Decoy and Mecha Sonic (MetalliX). I see your style for animating became to more epic!
