Because that's how you beat Tyson. He wasn't as good at fighting on the inside as people think. You just walked in, held an arm and he gave up till the ref stepped up

Mike Tyson, bien qu'il n'a plus jamais retrouvé son niveau de 1987/1988 (année de son apogée) a réussi un bon KO face à François Botha, par contre il était en difficulté techniquement, cela ne présageait rien de bon pour affronter Lennox Lewis. Mike Tyson était moyen pour son retour et suffisamment fort pour battre la plupart des boxeurs, excepté Lennox Lewis et Evander Holyfield qui étaient plus forts.

This was not Mike Tyson as his best. Gone was the speed and double jabs, yes he still had a devastating punch in both hands. Sadly he lost years in jail which I suppose sped up his decline. I still wouldn't like to get on the wrong side of him though not like a certain "Influencer"

I'm surprised it took Tyson that long to drop him, with Botha's poor defensive posture. Tyson looking like a shadow of his former self here, but hands-down-man-down is the rule of the day once again....
