OMG...i'm only a couple of minutes in and I was looking forward to hearing what they had to say about that....... I've been enjoying this podcast but I have noticed they have a trend of choosing the bands that they hate on based almost SOLEY on the singer or the fans of and/or concepts related to said band, but they don't really do a ton of research - it's all surface level hate. Frank Sinatra deserves some deep meaningful hatred. He truly sucked......he did it his way for sure....and was a huge POS.

One thing I would throw out there is how much better Sinatra's music sounded compared to other pop music at the time -- go listen to the top artists at RCA, Columbia, and Capitol back in the late 40s and 50s and you'll see how much better Frank's music was during the time. The exceptions are who we could all name Ella Fitzgerald, Peggy Lee, Dean Martin? I mean the list is pretty short for pop music. And your comparison of Frank with Justin Beiber is spot on with the exception that Frank was the first to do it, there was nothing like him before -- the closest thing to pop stars before Frank would be Bing Crosby and Al Jolson. All that said, really enjoyed the episode even tough I disagree 100%.

Name 1 other song besides Moon River or some Christmas Song from Andy Williams ... Yes, Frank's music after he retired in '72 (i.e., My Way and NY, NY) is bad, but listen to his first albums on Capitol in the 50s -- Wee Small Hours, Songs for Swingin' Lovers, Sings Only for the Lonely, A Swingin' Affair, come on, these are classics.

It's a shame you guys overlooked his short film The House I Live In (made to oppose anti-semitism), his refusal to play Las Vegas Casinos unless/until his African American band members could stay in the same hotels as white people (changed the city), and his 1962 world tour which gave all proceeds to children with disabilities.
