The audience kept pissing me off when I watched this first time around. They kept laughing at Steve even when he wasn't saying anything funny. Just seemed they were laughing at him rather than with him most of the time. But I loved Steve. And I'm so sad he's not with us anymore. RIP Steve.

They weren't going to not laugh, or sit in sullen silence just because he died some time in the future, surely that should be the case with everyone in that case?
@startracker58958 жыл бұрын
What's his death got to do with it? What a stupid thing to say! And of course an audience should keep silent when someone is interviewed. It's called manners! Sure laugh when their funny but don't laugh when their just talking normally. It's very rude.

Passionate like attenbrough. Steve Irwin RIP
@DoctorMeatDic7 жыл бұрын
He was very different to Attenborough. He deliberately provoked animals to get a reaction. Attenborough's style was observance only, no interfering. Irwin's approach ultimately led to his death.
@tempestrage2576 жыл бұрын
but steve loved animals he wanted tobe close enough to touch them and learn their behaviour what happened to him was extremely unlucky
@craftysquirrel29586 жыл бұрын
Seriously? Have you actually watched Attenborough? No "interfering"? OK, so maybe Attenborough is not a herpetologist and never wrestled crocodiles, but go watch him with the primates. There are actually quite a few similarities between the pair of them, particularly when David Attenborough was younger. You have to remember that Irwin died when he was just 44, so most of his films were done in his 30s, whereas Attenborough has been on telly for over 50 years! It's their enthusiasm where they are so alike. Steve's enthusiasm and energy is very Australian, whilst Attenborough is very British, but the passion is no less. Go watch Zoo Quest, or Attenborough with the Gorillas, and think that when he filmed that NOBODY in the world had done anything like that and it was over 20 years before anyone had heard of Irwin! In his later years Attenborough "interferes" less and less, but just watch him with the baby rhino back when he did his "Africa" series: m.kzbin.info/www/bejne/p4i2eKSEd7lkncU

Who else on this planet has that much passion for what they do?! I bet not even one in a billion. What he did for a living was so important to the world that even as an adult he could be a big kid. I don't know anyone that wakes up in the morning and goes to their job with even half as much excitement. Or many people who's work is nearly as important for all life on Earth. The world would be a better place if we all have Steve Irwin amounts of enthusiasm for the work we do.

Well the video was uploaded and titled after he died, so there's nothing incorrect about saying late...
@edwardjones22029 жыл бұрын
Huh?? So any property ascribed to "the late x" is true if and only if true of x post-mortem? So all the standard "late x" sayings such as "the late x was a taxi driver", "the late x was born in 1974" etc are only true if the corpse drove taxi's and if the corpse, as a corpse, was delivered of his mother??? Try again sunshine
