OK, so you listened to an excerpt of the hearings that was to elevate Sen Jeff Sessions (R-AL) from the Senate to the position of Attorney General (head of the US Federal Justice Department). He was made Attorney General soon after the Inauguration of Trump as President. The inauguration was January 20th 2017. So I would guess that the hearing is sometime early February. Sessions was later pressured to recuse from the adjudication into the Russian influence (or otherwise) and as a result appoint Robert Mueller to investigate.He had to recuse because he was found to have lied about meeting Russians during the 2016 Presidential Campaign.
