I Franken-mixed all my favorite highlighters and blushes when I hit a lot of pan and wanted to declutter the packaging. I use the reusable pots from lush to store them. They are my favorite shades to use now and I haven’t bought new blush or highlighters about 2 years. I have 3 pots a light golden bronze/highlighter a deeper contour/bronzer and a pinky sheer/shimmer highlighter. AND LESS CLUTTER ✌️I’m ready/ inspired to Frankenstein my shadows 💗thank you

I’ve made frankenblushes, but not shadows. Since I’m still in early sobriety, I’ve had hesitations to buy rubbing alcohol. I used setting spray and that worked a lot

You are one talented woman. Unbelievable that you do not have more subscribers. What a shame! The final Cyprus Umber is such a beautiful shade. It looks gorgeous in the pan. Great job on your selection! I love the colors you are wearing. Absolutely beautiful! I have to watch this again later and take notes. You are giving me some great ideas for the shadows that I do not use because I am not happy with the color. Let me go back to the video now. Thank you for the tips. I will make sure to play with the colors first. I will only use a small amount at first and build up from there before I put it in the pan. I wash and save my glass containers once I use up a product. I want to use the glass jars for mixing my shades. Your voice changed at the end of the end of the video. I heard the excitement in your voice. Good for you! Have fun with your makeup. Enjoy your beautiful new shades. You did an amazing job with your selections. Excellent video!!

First reaction. Love this hair look. Absolutely stunning. Living for it. I’m very interested in this topic though cause I have one shade in pallet that is this awkward hard to use shade that just doesn’t usually suit my looks so I’m interested in trying to warm it up with another color and see if I can still get some use out it.

Good idea to do some research on which colors to mix. I like blurple and bronzey tones. I sometimes use shadow as blush, too. I'll swirl a small area on top of my hand if it's kind of dark and use it from there. Good vid!

One thing that I suggest for repressing they Frankenshadow is to put the alcohol into a spray bottle! I always feel like I would end up with too much alcohol, so instead I use a spray bottle to spray a little bit at a time, adding more as needed
@shadowsmoked884 жыл бұрын
That's a great idea! If I had a little spray bottle I would absolutely do that.

This is super creative!!! Haha I looove the final results!! I should do the same with my own MR. I have a super colorful palette that I bough last year (a dupe for the Huda colorful smaller shadows) that I only wear twice, I should mix it with it!! I also have the Tarte Tartelette in bloom wich is as old as my MR. I have several pans in bought, maybe I could create something new! Yaaass its gonna be fun

I watched this the day it launched, thought on it, and then last night I tackled the prospect of making my own charcoal metallic shadow- I'm not someone who owns a lot of neutrals, and I haven't done anything smoky since high school where I spent all of it rocking raccoon eyes. Something in me snapped and wanted a full-blown charcoal smoky eye with a deep red lip and baby pink blush- I had everything but the charcoal. xD The first time I did it, I pressed the shadow too hard, and then the second time, I mixed more shadows together, made it more finely milled, and did what you did via putting it in the pan- it's the most sparkly charcoal metallic I've seen, and it made my heart so happy. All it took was a silver pigment, one of those dread black mattes with glitter in them I'd never have used anyway, one of my blue-purple sparkly iridescent shades, a pinch of a regular black matte, and a pinch of a blue-white duochrome. I love her so so so much.

This makes me SO HAPPY!!! Your creation sounds absolutely divine. And so inspired! I am reminded of a silver pigment I have now (and some other pigments) and I want to utilize them for some future frankenshadows. Thank you!!
@persephonegrail19954 жыл бұрын
@@shadowsmoked88 I can't wait to see what you do! :3 I would have never used that pigment if I hadn't watched your video, and I've had it since 2016, and only used it a handful of times ,which is a shame.

I tried the same sweater on because I melted when I touched the fabric and how soft it was. Sadly, it was too short and too loose and too expensive (Swedish prices suck). Also, I'm glad the records are back on the wall!

It cost me about $20 CAD. I got it in the fall, I think. It is rather short but pairs well with high-waisted pants!

I love these type of videos would love to see you creating more frankenshadows. What percentage alcohol do you use?

I'm pretty sure my bottle is 99%. But a lot of the things I've read about repressing shadows say to use 70%

I made some frankenshadows and it was fun, but I'm not sure I went in with the right plan. I may have to try again with frankening one or two shadows while panning a palette...instead of trying to create a magical perfect frankepalette

I actually used a flexible knife and a spoon to crush and rub everything toghether. And a small plastic spatula to scrape stuff off. I used an old nabla luna i had a huge pan of with my mini nars hot sands ( to dry and hard to use) to create a shadow to put in a compact :) imgur.com/a/NteJqzH. But i did thouroughly repressed as i wanted to be able to carry the compact in my purse. Time will tell on that but the color is pretty good. A perfect poweder match for chanel scintiliance cream ( more golden than nabla but more pigmented than the nars highlight)
