I am 72 and as a kid back in the 1950's, I would ride my bicycle to the theater, pay 25 cents, and watch the great horror movies: Karloff as Frankenstein, The Wolf Man with Lon Chaney, Jr., Vincent Price, Peter Lorre, Bela Lugosi, and others. What a time to be a kid...!! And then the classic sci-fi movies of the 50's: Forbidden Planet, War of the Worlds, Destination Moon, The Day the Earth Stood Still, 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, and many more good ones and then some maybe less than classic sci-fi but still fun for a kid to go to the movies and get scared...!!! Yea, what a time to be a kid....!!! And wow...that busted front door sure got repaired fast...LOL..!!

One of the funniest movie moments O ever experienced was the big monster reveal at the end of "Sting of Death" 1966 Look it up in Google Images. The best comedy writers in Hollywood, at their most inspired could not achieve what the director of Sting did in all seriousness.

I’ve realised over the years that in most horror films there are usually two types of women, TYPE 1 is normally very good looking, very sexy, dresses to excite, may have a short skirt, and often has big boobs with a plunging neckline, probably will be seen smoking and drinking a lot, and has a provocative manner - these types ALWAYS exit the film first, usually by being killed off. TYPE 2 will be very ‘pretty’ and petite, will resist any advances, will not have big boobs or a short skirt or a plunging neckline, will appear to be sweet, innocent and intelligent, may have a heroic ‘boyfriend’ who will not be seen in any passionate embrace with the girl, and they will be seen in each other’s arms at the end of the film!

During the making of this film, the creature makers didn't realize that the monster was meant to be a woman.... So they made the usual generic MALE monster suit and mask. It was short notice, and the budget had been spent. their solution? They put lipstick on their monster's face.

In the first scene she basically only had bad teeth and huge bushy eyebrows. So really the blonde screamed because she saw an ugly person? Then went on the next day to use the word monster. Not very nice. Lol. Plus, if I was living in a house with two creeps, one of which sexually harrassed me on a regular basis I wouldn't be accepting any drinks from either of them. Especially if the guy leaned over and stared at me to make sure I drank it.

And I've never seen a woman do that in emergency situations, only in movies. I'm sure I'm not the only woman who has risked her life by stepping in to prevent a man from committing serious violence against another man. In two cases, I took the gun from one man who was about to shoot another man. Women often step in to prevent such violence by men.

The true monsters in this movie are the ghastly young folk. Not one of them is sufficiently pleasant to provide a modicum of interest. As for the plot and script! It’s best not to ask. Still it has some truly hysterically funny lines and a ghastly very long music sequence that add to the nonsense! How on earth did they ever get the finances for this dreadful mess?
