I don't know if you've ever watched any of Bill Curtis' investigative reports, but its always about some huge incident/conspiracy and he commonly makes the statement about how it is a "cover up" or how they are "denying it." That's the joke with the board game, they're making fun of his over use of those two statements on the show.
