I Have Seen Such People, they are entirely idiots, Caring About their Own status Rather Than To Save Lives. If There were No Social Media, Would You then also give up on them For Not Knowing Them. I Have Seen ESFJs To Be very Sensitive Of Others, This Response Was More Of An ESTP Type That's Pathetic, Let's Suppose You don't know someone in train and he is in trouble, would you really not mind saving them, That's what humanity is nowadays, Most of them even don't care others anymore. It is just restricted to some imaginary likes, followers. which can be gained by paying money also. Also, This Happens When you are more of isolated from others. And This is What Happens When You become isolated from others due to social media, aka You become antisocial. So, it is much good to delete such apps and spend more time in real life. Because this generation is doomed to lose. In fact, i liked the ENTP Way of doing things, Even that was 1 person, he was aware of casualties.

But what if it was fate that put you there so you could help these people? 🤔. Another INFJ here. Edit: What if the people on the track were praying for rescue and God answered their prayers by putting you in that place at the right time? If it was fate for those people to die, I would think that fate would ensure that there was no one around that could hinder that plan. The fact that you're there indicates to me that you were meant to be there and were meant to act. The way I look at it, we are all connected. Everything we do affects someone in some way. It's the butterfly effect. If you pull the lever, you will forever change the lives of not only the people on the track, but also their loved ones and anyone connected with them. If you don't pull the lever, you will forever change the lives of the people on the track, their loved ones and anyone connected with them. Basically, regardless of whether you choose to act or not you will be playing a role in their fate - so make sure the role you play is something you can live with.

INFP is TOO accurate dude... Anytime I've heard someone say what they would do I've spent the next 10 minutes, 15 minutes, next couple days wondering what I would do, if I would do anything, how it would be justifiable to do either, what if I pulled the lever and the guy's mom comes up in tears, and asks why I killed her child, I wouldn't have an answer, what if I killed all five and the one guy says I should've just killed him, is it possible I could flip the switch so that it derails the train? What if there are people on the train?? I'd be responsible for them as well!! What if the driver gets trauma, and it's my fault because I didn't flip the switch? Huh? Also WHY ARE THEY ON THE TRACKS?? WHO PUT THEM THERE?? Was it someone I know? Am I in danger? And why can't the train stop? (This is why I would freeze up, in case you're wondering) And I admire the ESTJ for their clear thinking. Unfortunately it's not that simple for an INFP :D

@danjoredd

I am INFJ and my rational is that saving the 5 people would have a much higher chance for one of them to make a big impact. The one guy might do something with his life, but the several of the 5 might also as well. Regardless I would rather live with the guilt of one man's death than 5, also. The trolley problem becomes much more interesting, at least to me, if the one person is someone you love. A mother, a spouse, a sibling, etc. Think Peter Parker trying to save Mary Jane and the bus full of children because the green goblin wanted to force him to choose between his desires and the greater good. A better version of the trolley problem was given to me...the planet destroying button. You have a button thay will destroy a planet. This planet has billions of people. You will never see this planet, and know nobody from it. You know for fact that it exists and that the button will in fact destroy that planet. If a supervillain had a gun pointed to your mother, and said that he will pull the trigger if you don't destroy the planet, would you press it? There are no consequences for pressing besides the knowledge that billions died by your hand.
@ShizuruNakatsu
@ShizuruNakatsu 7 ай бұрын
@danjoredd I'm an INFJ I definitely would NOT press the button. I'd try to find some way to kill the villain, even if it got me and my mother killed. I don't let evil exist, so I'm going to fight if somebody is evil, even if the odds are 0% I win. I will stand up against an army with guns pointed at me, if they are in the wrong. I just won't stand for injustice. I also have the belief that all lives are equal, whether or not I know them personally. So just because somebody is important to me for personal reasons, it doesn't make their life worth more than another. I'd also NEVER do something bad. No matter what. If I consider it immoral, or evil, I'm not doing it, no matter what is at stake. I would never kill or even harm anybody, unless THEY are evil and/or about to hurt somebody.
@danjoredd
@danjoredd 7 ай бұрын
@@ShizuruNakatsu I agree with you on the button. You would be surprised how many people would, simply because they don't see the planet or know anyone from it. It is disturbing to me how many people think that way. I disagree with your final statement about never doing bad, however. It is impossible to not do bad. Oftentimes, doing bad comes from a place of trying to do good and going about it the wrong way. As the Bible says, "In a person's own eyes all his ways are right, but the Lord weighs the motives of the heart." Even if you are not Christian, that verse rings true...we all think of ourselves as good guys no matter what. Wisdom is knowing not only that you are capable of evil, but will likely commit it in some form or fashion. No matter what your belief system is, life is not a black and white system. Denying the fact that you will do bad will only ensure the fact that you will do bad in the future. We must be self aware of ourselves and seek wisdom above all else, to navigate this world of grey morality the best we know how.

Also, a train without brakes is probably going too fast for that curve, so pulling the lever guarantees it will derail killing all 6 people, something that would only be revealed in hindsight after freezing for too long and panicking as it thunders closer, or it derails from trying to pull the lever as it's hitting it, killing all 6 that way instead. Lots of ways to mess up. And of course the thing I could have done to stop it from happening will pop into my head a few days later, or I would expect unreasonable things of myself 'why couldn't I have stolen a digger and buckled the tracks ahead of the train to derail it before it got to the people'. :)
@jamlaw
@jamlaw 6 ай бұрын
Ya I was thinking similar... Like, "well, the train is ALREADY going in that direction... If I do nothing then *technically* it's not my fault." But then, also, I know I'd probably sit and ponder what to do for so long that the train ended up just continuing on to run over the 5 so... oh well. Sort of the same result which I knew would happen to begin with, anyway, haha. Ultimately, I'd want to come up with some way to stop the train first. There has to be a way. But it feels futile and the time-crunch would make me panic and...same result. haha

@@NinaNostalgia I wouldn't jump on to the tracks and kill myself. I think you're underestimating the self survival instinct, most people don't want to die. I would look for something like a log to throw onto the track, hoping the train driver might see it in time and stop. They never say if the train is full or empty? Because if full and derailed it would kill more people? If I couldn't find a log to push on to the tracks, I'd pull the switch and save 5 over one person, rather then 5 die and one is saved. If I couldn't decide, 5 die. If that happened in real life, I wouldn't think it's my fault, I would see it as an impossible situation. Which of course, it is! That's why these questions are ridiculous! It's supposed to test your morality? But if you kill one person you're a murderer, if you kill 5 you're a serial killer!! What if we were to switch the lever when the train was near the track that could switch.. & while the track is switching while the train is on it, it goes off track since the two tires would be wedged between both the track with 5 people & the track of 1 person, causing the train to roll off the tracks in between both tracks. [hopefully the explanation made sense (;w;) ] Injuries would probably be inevitable but everyone may have a chance of living still.. & at least we did something which relieves the delima of simply doing nothing, since knowing this way has a chance of saving everyone, it's worth a shot. Compared to doing nothing with the belief that either decision would cause someone to lose their life.. Idk how I never thought of this possibility before

As an INTJ, I thought roughly the same way as in the INTJ segment Let's hope I will never be in charge of railroad switches

I feel like both the INFJ and ENFP because I’m always catastophizing and I too have a knack for wanting to help but messing things up usually in ways unforeseen due to random chance and anarchy lol

OH MY GOD! absolutely love it😂 This is brilliant, Frank. What an awesome sketch ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐🤩 Each one of the 16p decisions and arguments was hilarious. But I love the ESFJ, ISTP, ESTP and ENFP so much, and the presenter questions and reactions was hilarious, too. Great work 💯

I think this is the best of the 16 personalities I've seen. ENFP does have a point...

I'm an INTJ, last year I was asked that question, I answered something like "I'll change to that one person, then I'll come back, and go for the other five.".
