You mentioned the ability to eventually charge your battery through the smart circuits from an electric car. Your graphic shows that you will be able to also charge it from a small portable generator. Is this the case as you just didn't mention it on your video.

There is no reason why the system could not do this (Though I was wondering the same thing), but when mine was installed, it didn't actually have the generator feature built into it so i could not set it up to do this. If it can take a generator, it surely would take V2L. I would however like to see more flexibility in the app to charge and discharge the battery based on scheduling. They have Time of use scheduling, but I can't seem to set it up properly and no-one has been able to assist me yet. if the scheduling could have a priority of what powers the home/battery for each block of time inputted into the scheduler. In my case, power is free from 11:00am to 2:00pm, so if I can hold off charging the battery until the free power comes in, i will be paid for the solar going out prior to this time (it's worth a $1 per day) so there is no point in putting it in the battery when the grid power a little later is free.
