As I was thinking about gatherings 2022 - just got news of another friend testing positive for covid. Alas . . . it could be that things are opening up when continuing to limit ourselves might be a wiser option. I do look forward to the day of no "break-throughs" etc. Yearning for gathering and, Franklin, I certainly I will someday be listening to you in person.

Your new vest is wonderful! Well done. The colors suit you beautifully and you chose the perfect shirt color. Oh my heart! The bookcase is so warm and homey. Organized books 📚 are such a joy. It's not a home for me until I can walk to the bookcase that houses the book I am looking for & easily grab the right one. Travel, in person meetings with other fiber people, sharing your experience with students? So happy for you. Hello to all the residents of the community around Misters Foxe & Boxe.

Thanks again for brightening my morning with your wonderful video - glad everything got moved in so smoothly!

LOVE Schoolhouse Press!! Meg (and her late husband, Chris’) videos are worth their weight in gold! Meg makes the most complex things do- able. I still miss Tami- she would remind us subscribers before our Wool Gathering subscriptions ran out. Dealing with them has always been one of the more pleasant experiences in my knitting life. Knitting Camp remains on my bucket list. Your home looks so warm and inviting and you look at home in Paris:)!

Franklin, the vest is gorgeous! And I haven't watched for a while and didn't realize you'd moved to Paris. Wow! So much to catch up on. And I agree, Meg Swansen's videos are the best, and so nice to be able to stop and rewind/rewatch when you need to. I hope you enjoy the new Stitches West venue. It's walking distance from my office, so a big, hearty local welcome. :) That last Stitches West before Covid was my last show too. Can't believe it's been so long.

I'm rather pleased to see someone else who knits using the "continental" method. Due to arthritis I mostly knit by machine now but I design all my own patterns and have recently had a run on vests. I have also sewn some waistcoats with knitted backs so I don't have to fiddle with those little belts and darts. Love your work.

Moving is such a pain... Courage pour terminer de vider les cartons ! I wanted to try weaving for quiet some time but you convinced me more than ever with the fact that it melts the stash down! Now, when you said "nature abhors a vacuum" (I laught so hard with that one, you made my day! :'D) I stopped the video, rewind, and make my husband listen. I said "See? Finishing is in the air! I am working on my knit blanket while three cats are ON it, that's how much I've gotten done. My linen stitch project is done and ready to mail, yesterday Breathe and Hope went to the post office. Doesn't it feel great to use up several skeins of yarn in a month? Your videos of the courtyard and elevator are so interesting! I picture you developing a friendship with your Gardiniere over 3rd story window boxes of herbs and flowers. Leave Mimmi a few lounging spots amongst the books!

Oh, Franklin! The cat had the right idea...hunker down until the wind stops blowing. How you simply make up a vibrant vest from a tsunami of colors is beyond me. I am facing the hurricane of an unchosen move in 2 months so will disappear for a goodly length of time...but I will be watching and listening. (Do you suppose the extreme weather references mirror my moving anxiety? 🙃 )
