The word IS "broke" when you break a shoelace, though! At least in the standard American English that I grew up speaking (I'm from Michigan). Your English is very good. And mistakes and/or awkward phrasing, when it rarely happens,is so very charming and endearing.
@Gabriela-bl5py4 жыл бұрын
marisadaniela6 oh! I also thought “broke” was the wrong word. My native la gauge is Spanish, as hers and we use “break” differently. We have two words for it. One (quebrar) is for stuff like glass, ceramics, wood, hard plastic, etc. and the other (romper) for things like mechanisms, soft plastic, paper, shoe laces jeje, etc. But I think in school they only teach us to use “break” how we would use “quebrar” in Spanish. Sorry for the unnecessary long comment jaja and thanks for teaching us this 👍

As a vegetarian who'd love to visit Japan someday, I would love to see a vlog/blog from you dedicated to your research into vegan places to eat and detailing where you went and what you had! The food in this video looks seriously delicious, but I've heard it can be difficult to eat vegan even in Tokyo!

The video DID NOT DISAPPOINT!!! What a bummer Fran that you were sick on your trip - ugh!! Hate that for you. I don't care when/how you share your haul - just want to see it and see it all :). Reminds me of my trip to South Korea this summer. It was the trip of my dreams, I had been saving up for it for 7 years, we got there and I immediately got sick and it lasted all throughout the trip, I was the sickest I have ever been, coughing, dying etc. Good times. I guess my immune system is way too weak for long ass trips like that. Guess I already caught something through the airplane AC on the way there lol

I'm rewatching these vlogs now (almost 2 years later) and am finding the segment where you talk about masks amusing/ironic (and sure a bit sad in remembering "the before time") because only a few months later masks became so ubiquitous and you definitely wouldn't have had to give the same preface to wearing them

Anyway, yes, I would probably separate the videos with the stationery haul so that people watching the vlog can see the vlog and not be intimidated by a video over a half hour.
